What is your photographic style?


For event photography such as weddings, Danae N. Benton Photography strives to capture all of your day in an artisitc blend of traditional posed shots and photojournalistic shots. After the consultation the couple will receive documentation that includes a posed shot list that they may complete. This does not guarantee these shots but all measures will be taken to acquire them. For portraitures, Danae N. Benton works with your style. When arranging your session Danae N. Benton will take a few minutes to get the basics down. All portraiture clients meet with Danae N. Benton in a consultation 15 -30 mins before the shoot.

How do you present proofs?

Proofs will be available online approximately 4-7 days after your session and 2-3 weeks after your wedding or event. Rush proofing is available for no additional fee, but Danae N. Benton Photography will need to know at the time of your booking. For more on the proofs process please click on the proofs tab then follow through to the smugmug sample proof gallery. Proofing books are available at an additional fee and will take additional time.

How many pictures are taken?

There is no limit on the images captured during your session. Edited proofs delivered range from 100 - 600 images depending on the size and length of event. Portrait sessions are limited to the number of poses in a package. To add unlimited poses please contact Danae N. What do you require to secure my date?

Danae N. Benton requires a 50% deposit and a signed contract on all event photography to secure your date. Portrait sessions, excluding bridal and engagement sessions, are required to place a 50% deposit and a signed contact to secure date.

Where will I go for studio sessions?

Danae N. Benton Photography believes that you are at your most comfortable in your own home; it is because of this that all studio session will occur in your place of residence. Danae N. Benton Photography brings a professional portable studio to your location. This unique service is included in all packages. Outdoor photography takes place at an agreed upon location. If you are having trouble picking a location, Danae is always happy to suggest various locations around town.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Travel fees do not occur for any travel in the state of TX and some OK cities. Please contact for additional details and your event location.

Do I get to keep my negatives?

Danae N. Benton stores all negatives for a minimum of 4 years, longer if requested; this guarantees that your images will be available when you need them. PhotoCDs with all negatives are available. Please contact for information on this service.

Do I have to pick from the packages offered?

No! Danae N. Benton Photography specializes in custom packages to fit your needs and your budget. To get your custom package quote please fill out the form with your contact information, event date, number of prints, CDs, albums, etc desired , and your budget. The form is located here. You have nothing to lose since your consultation is, as always, gratis.
